EN She survived war, cruelty, and immense loss – yet she never allowed herself to be consumed by hatred. She chose forgiveness over revenge, dialogue over silence, and love over hostility. This not only enabled her to survive, but today opens up new horizons of hope. This deeply personal film traces the journey of one of Lithuanian culture's most iconic figures, Irena Veisaitė, through the atrocities of two totalitarian regimes, highlighting the inner light that became an inspiration for generations to come. More than just a historical testimony, it is a reminder that a single person's stance can change the world.
